We had a skeleton crew of volunteers to begin the Saturday with and just before the run got under way we had a few more people come up to the Run Director to offer their volunteering services.
Even though it was a Bank Holiday we had 242 runners taking part. With visitors from Serpentine Running Club in London, Ranelagh Running Club (also from London) and a visitor from Cambridge parkrun. The weather was perfect for running.
I wanted to thank the volunteers again for helping us out. Without them the parkrun wouldn't be able to continue and if you haven't helped out before, we give you training on the day and make sure you are comfortable with the role.

This week there were 242 runners, of whom 37 were first timers and 42 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 15 different athletics clubs took part.
St Anne's parkrun started on 28th September 2013, and since then 6,244 different runners, including participants from 210 athletics clubs, have completed 34,749 runs covering a total distance of 173,745 km, and there have been 7,196 new Personal Bests.
The female record is held by Aoife TALTY who ran in a time of 00:16:51 on 28th September 2013 (event number 1).
The male record is held by Mark KIRWAN who ran in a time of 00:15:03 on 26th July 2014 (event number 41).
The Age Grade course record is held by Mick TRAYNOR who recorded a 91.78% run (15:49) on 28th September 2013 (event number 1).
