St Anne’s parkrun No. 290 on the 6th July 2019

At St Anne's parkrun on Saturday 6th July 2019,  337 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 32 were first timers and 46 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different clubs took part.

Numbers were slightly lower than usual due to the Clontarf Half Marathon and a misty rain in the morning. However, this didn't stop the usual jovial spirit at St Annes that saw us celebrating some super milestones. Big congratulations to John Keegan and Trish Dillon on completing their 50th parkrun and Deirdre Devine on completing her 100th parkrun. Well done also to our 98th finisher - Ruairi McGowan.

We had parkrun tourists from near and far....... Philip McIlwrath and Rosy Ryan from Waterworks parkrun in Belfast and also Lorraine and Russel Waugh all the way from Perth, Australia.

Lots of pictures from the day are posted on the St Anne's Facebook page.

A special mention must go to all those that volunteered on the day - The event was made possible by  27 super volunteers:
