St Anne’s parkrun #118 – Run Report

Another hectic morning in St Anne's with 403 hardy souls braving a blustery chilly morning to kick start their weekend at the best parkrun in Ireland.

2 of the top 3 male finishers were St Anne's first timers. 1st male was John Kelly in an impressive time of 16:05 while 3rd male was Eoin Cassidy in 18:01 with last week 1st male finisher Brian Leahy from Raheny Shamocks sandwiched between them finishing in 16:54.

The camera shy Bláithín Sheil lead our female runners home in a time of 19:23 with Helen Carr (20:10) and Niamh Lennon (21:13) completing the list of top 3 female finishers today. Helen deserves a little extra special mention as not only was she 2nd female home, she also completed 50th parkrun and managed a PB to boot. Good day at the office, Helen. Well done.

The latest addition to the #98 hall of fame is Paul Hand. Enjoy your moment of glory, Paul.

Well done to all who joined us today and completed another parkrun whether you ran, walked or crawled!!

And last but by no means least a big THANKS to today's volunteer crew on another sterling job. As we all hopefully know at this stage none of this would happen without those parkrunners who step up each week to volunteer and swap their runners for hi-vis jackets. Today's crew included:

Alan KILMARTIN • Ann Marie GRAHAM • Anne MC COMISH • Anthony CARROLL • Carmel CASSIDY • Colm KERNAN • Connor JENNINGS • Denis MURPHY • Eugene MEEGAN • Fia MOORE • Gillian KENNY • Jamie PLUMMER • Linda ROWDEN • Mark MCCOMISH • Mary LYNCH • Nicole ROECHERT • Orla BYRNE • Paul DUFFY • Paul DWYER • Richard O'CONNOR • Rob CLARKE • Susan HOLMGREN • Valerie HAND

Thanks, Folks.

We will throw up a few photos during the course of the next couple of days as we get them. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your weekend. See you next week.........SAME TIME SAME PLACE!!
