St. Anne’s parkrun – Run Report – Event #99

Saturday 26th September was Event #99 and our second birthday at the wonderful St. Anne's parkrun. And what a day it was. We had 278 runners out on Saturday, ably supported by a wonderful volunteer team. For a change, we reversed the course - while everyone liked it, there was a mixed reaction as to whether they would prefer it vs. the regular course.

Let's kick things off with some thanks to the following parties: Shauna McIntyre and all at Dublin City Council Sport and Recreation Section; Councillor Ciaran O'Moore; Olive's Room for putting on the wonderful post-run spread at the Red Stables and Sean Kavanagh and Eoin Fegan for taking a superb batch of photos - you can find them on our facebook page.

Well done to all the prizewinners - all well deserved, with each and every one of you consistently demonstrating enthusiasm, support and camaraderie through your participation and volunteering week after week. Those prizewinners were as follows:

  • Parkrunner of the Year: Connor Jennings
