It was a bit windy out on Saturday making the hill at the half way point even more fun than usual. Despite this 79 of the 339 runners managed to record PBs. We have been following the running adventures of Linda Meehan on her blog and were delighted to see her get under the 35 minute mark for the first time. See the following links from Linda,s blog on her visits to Marlay parkrun
Other PBs of note included Leanne Palmer who came in under 25 minutes on her 5th visit and Jimmy Frawley who broke through the elusive 20 minute milestone for the first time.
We had the rare privilege of being inundated with volunteers due to the Great Ireland run on Sunday, thanks to all and it was great to catch up with you afterwards in the cafe afterwards.
