Killarney parkrun #208 – 29th June 2019

This week we welcomed 56 people who ran, jogged or walked the course, of whom 19 were first timers and representatives of 7 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to the 4 who recorded new Personal Bests and to Matt Cutler, a first time visitor from London, who led the field home and to young Ailbhe Gammell who led the ladies home for the 6th time.

Both First Finishers were beaten however on Age Grade scoring by super consistent Ray Smith who warmed up by setting out the course and then set the highest Age Grade score for the 40th time!

We were treated to a new Age Grade record today as Mary Casey celebrated her first run in Killarney for almost 2 years by smashing our W75 Record by over 4 minutes! Well done Mary.

Our thanks go to the 8 volunteers who made this morning’s event possible:

Mike RIORDAN • Eileen HAYES • Sinead FAGAN • Brid STACK • Caroline CLIFFORD • Ray SMITH • Dj O'SULLIVAN • Mick ANGLIM
