Father Collins parkrun - Event number 230 - 8th February 2020
On a windy, sunny, dry and cold day (it was really all those things) and before the arrival of Storm Ciara, 109 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 12 were first timers. Welcome to everyone who came to do parkrun with us including our visitor from Cabinteely. We’re sure there were more tourists in attendance, but they didn’t tell us!
Despite the windy weather, 19 people recorded new Personal Bests so well done to you all on achieving a new pb. Representatives of 15 different clubs took part as well.
Our aesthetically pleasing time of the week goes to Ugo Matrangolo with a time of 30:40 so well done on the time.
As always, we would have no parkrun without our volunteers so a huge thanks to the 12 volunteers who made possible: Alan FOLEY • Yvonne CLARKE • Gaetan MEISTER • Matthew TOBIN • Wes KENNY • Anton SWEENEY • Geraldine PRENDERGAST • Raul PORTALES • Guus LEEUW • Liz O' DWYER • Mario BORTAS • Dafina NIKOLOVA
And a big thanks to everyone who put their name down to volunteer for the next couple of weeks and we’ve a full roster for next week which is great to see as always.
