ED Patricia Buckley and her team look forward to welcoming you next Saturday.

Saturday 16th April at 9.30 am Castlerea parkrun will be relaunched. Thanks to the hard work of Roscommon County Council the pathways in Castlerea Demesne have been given a fantastic makeover and the whole course is now very accessible. We will relaunch our popular event with a Park Walk initiative included in our regular parkrun. We invite walkers to join us at the Park Walk sign next Saturday with our Park Walk leaders.

parkrun is a free timed 5k run/walk which takes place every Saturday morning right across Ireland and indeed the World. All you need to do is register on https://www.parkrun.ie/register/form/ where you will be given a barcode which you should print and bring with you to the event. Its as simple as that and could be the start of your road to fitness. parkrun is also a wonderful social event and the chat and cuppa afterwards are as important as the exercise.

Event Director Patricia Buckley and her core team at Castlerea parkrun look forward to welcoming old friends and lots of new friends next Saturday and dont forget to wear your St. Patrick's day finery for the event.
