This week 53 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 7 were first timers and 8 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 6 different clubs took part. The weather today was beautiful, not as hot as last week and the boats were flying on the shining water. The course was nice, with the track really starting to dry out and get fast. We enjoyed it so much we all did an extra 100 metres or so! It was great to see a fantastic diversity of runners this week, with children in buggies, children running and children volunteering.
We always love to see first timers! We really are finding it hard to put the thingy back in it's bag so we also would love some feedback from the field on how to get it back into its home.
Michael did a great job of Run Directing this week and his enthusiasm knows no bounds. Padraig is always eager to get photos and if you want to get your picture taken he'll more than gladly get you in pixelated form.
The event was made possible by 12 volunteers:
Lisa KENNEDY • Deborah DINEEN • Lorraine BRODERICK • Cathy LAWLOR • Joe KENNEDY • Lily KENNEDY • Michael MOORE • Tommy KEATING • Angela BEHAN • Peter PUDAITE • Colum KENNEDY • Christopher DAVEY
