The first finisher was Conor Dolan. Conor was a regular Ballincollig parkrunner until he left us for pastures new. The last time he ran in Ballincollig was at event #70. Upto then he was the first finisher on 19 occasions. He achieved his 20th first finisher placing this morning - a magnificant achievement. Conor was also the person who made the km signs for us.
Congratulations to Aoife Bambury from Belgooly AC who not only joined the junior 10 club but did it in style by running a PB. A great achievement Aoife. Well done to Dylan Buttimer who also joined the junior 10 club this morning. It is great to see so many juniors joining us each week for the 5km. Long may it continue.
Congratulations are in order for Colette Culver, a regular runner and volunteer, who joined the 50 club. Colette was very close to running a PB.
